Saint Basil the Great is one of the great fathers of 4th century Christianity. His theology shaped the Church for ages to come. His theology was born of his spiritual practices. This paper is a historical profile of Basil the Great which explores the relationship between his theology and spiritual practice and what we can learn from it today.
